Thank you. This biblical analysis is really good and helpful, better than another person who regularly provides a “world view analysis” of event.

As for your paragraph about Biblical differences between the present and the last administration, I would agree with you if you take out of the Bible certain "inconvenient" parts for Republicans, like Matthew 25:31-46, Micah 6:8, several verses in the old testament on which the Lord commands us (not, "suggest") how to treat aliens and finally the Parable of the good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). Whether we like it or not, undocumented aliens here ARE our neighbors and The Lord Jesus has told us how we should treat them. BTW, although I also deplore abortions not triggered by rape or incest or liberal transgender policies, etc., they are not the only sins in the Bible; Lying, cheating, sexual immorality, fraud, etc., are also sins. And, ALL sins are equally damning before the Lord.

Thank you for your comment.

Regarding illegal aliens, they are breaking the law. Until the law changes, justice demands they be treated accordingly. Romans 13 reminds us that the government has authority to enforce its laws. Don't confuse the duties of individuals to other men with the authority of government to enforce laws.

I should add, of course the church has responsibility to care for those who they come in contact with, one way or another. It is not our job to act as law enforcement or as judges in the legal system. The government has that responsibility.

The post coming next Monday will deal with that point.
