Our latest edition of FrontLine is called, “The God of Beauty.” We introduced this edition with Interview 20, where coordinating editor Mark Herbster laid out his objectives in assembling writers to address this topic. You can catch that interview here.
This week we are talking to Scott Aniol who is the vice president and editor-in-chief at G3 Ministries and professor of Pastoral Theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary. His article, “Is Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder?” It offers a thoughtful check on how we decide what is beautiful. While our own tastes may influence how we evaluate beauty, the more we study God’s ideas of what is beautiful, the more we can align our affections with the affections of God.
Scott and I had a conversation that expanded on the written article. I hope you find our conversation enlightening as you read the article.
Paying subscribers will have access to this article right away. If you subscribe for the annual subscription rate, we will also include a subscription to the print magazine.
